medi Classic air: knee immobilisation brace
Immobilisation in extended (0°) or flexed (20°) position
Thin, breathable and skin-friendly material
Easy donning and doffing
medi Classic air is a brace for immobilisation of the knee joint. There are two variants of the brace: one for immobilisation in a extended (0°) position, the other for immobilisation in a flexed (20°) position. The knee immobilisation brace is very comfortable to wear due to the thin, breathable and skin-friendly material. Furthermore, the open wrap design makes it easy to don and doff - without having to flex the knee.
medi Classic air is used when an immobilisation of the knee joint in an extended or flexed position is necessary: this is the case, for example, after these injuries:
following ligament injuries (posttraumatic / postoperative)
following meniscus injuries (post-traumatic / postoperative)
following tendon injuries (post-traumatic / postoperative)
following patella dislocations
following fractures around the knee
The immobilisation of the knee joint can lead to a reduction in pain. medi Classic air provides a secure fit with the applied anti-slip protection in the upper and lower parts of the brace. Thanks to the three-part design and hook and loop fastener, the brace can be individually adjusted to exactly fit the leg circumference of the wearer. The removable and adjustable stabilisation bars of medi Classic air provide even more possibilities for customisation.
